Devon Weather - Dear Sheridan Elementary…
I just want to extend a very warm thank you for the kindness and hospitality you have shown me. Â It was a great pleasure to read to you all and I thank you for your letters… Â I will read EVERY ONE OF THEM! Â I also want to thank you for your orders. Â Although I know some of you can’t afford The Great Willow, I know you care about it, just the same. Â Please feel free to read it in your Beautiful Library or in your Amazing Literacy Garden. Â A special thanks to Mr. Carapia for mentioning me at the grand opening of your garden, and The Wonder of Reading for connecting me with such a wonderful school!

I will be visiting these two amazing schools as part of The Wonder of Reading Author visitation program. I will be reading to several assembly’s throughout the day and doing a presentation on making your own book… for the kids. Â Should be a blast! Sorry for being away for so long. Business has been slow, economy…
ANYWAY! I just want to thank those who still want “The Great Willow” to continue on.
A few notes: I will be reading at Beverly Hills Elementary this friday afternoon (3/5/10). Very excited to get back to it. Also, a bit of surprising news… The Wonder of Reading is sponsoring The Great Willow. If you don’t know what the Wonder of Reading is, please take the time to visit their website: www.wonderofreading.org
They are a not for profit organization who build libraries in elementary schools that can’t afford them. A most noble cause. I will be booking four schools with them this spring and look to your support for the “Willow” and the “Wonder…”
I’m looking to a bright future for Wolfpup and Duckling.
